From the hangars of Dassault Falcon, comes the Falcon 2000LX, a very special executive jet, not only for being the most efficient in the big cabin category but also for being more efficient than “the most developed” in the next inferior category.

An all this is reflected in a minor fuel consumption, which also transforms into less po lluting emissions, a very important a followed point these days.

 

The range for this model is 4 thousand nautical miles, with the peculiar ability to be able to make short flights between cities, while being able to land in relatively short strips (1,791 meters) and taking off on short distances (800 meters), aside from crossing the oceans without stopping. Everything said before means that it can travel straight from New York to Moscow with eight passengers; other destinations could be: Los Angeles, Lima (Peru), Tahiti Honolulu, Paris New York, Sao Paulo-Punta Arenas, Casablanca Paz (Bolivia), Salvador (Brazil).

The jet’s reach is mainly because of its two PW308C Engines, specifically designed by Pratt & Whitney Canada, offering a thrust of 7 thousand pounds each while taking off (even at 30 °C at sea level). With the less amount of fuel consumption, the 2000LX offers an efficiency that is above any competitor of its class. Engines will need service every seven thousand hours due to its performance, allowing the jet to spend more time flying than on the ground.

This model has the possibility of climbing up to a height of 41 thousand feet in just 18 minutes, to then enjoy a direct flight, above the clouds with minor turbulence.

The Falcon 2000LX was recently certified by the FAA and the EASA, which demonstrates that it shares a common sense in efficiency with companies that need to be close to their clients, take advantage of its executives and make the best out of new coming opportunities, while they’re working in the air, keeping in touch via telephone or personal computers.

 

Several Configurations

The jet’s interior allows different set ups. Walking freely across the cabin can be done thanks to its 1.88 meters. There are eight wide leather couches installed inside it and a 3 people couch instead of a little stand, it also includes al the wooden detailing to the customer’s preference.

For the flight to be a complete delight all kinds of food and drinks can be prepared -hot or cold-, the baggage compartment can be reached from the cabin and it also has a bathroom.

Dassault EASy avionics is a true revolution in the industry, representing passion and dedication to the safety of flying. The EASy concept is a military heritage (Dassault also makes the Rafale combat aircraft).

Some of the in-flight features are: Intuitive pilot aircraft interface, better crew coordination and flight situations and a reduction in the pilot’s work for more safety.

In 1963 the first Falcon of the factory left the hangar, and up to this date more than two thousand have been sold in more than 70 countries to companies as well as governments and particulars, all of them built under the same concept “the common sense of efficiency” , reflected on the new Falcon 2000LX.
