The Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel welcomes guests with select experiences in Pompeii, Herculaneum and Monte Faito.

The Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel is a 15-minute walk from the center of Amalfi and is the result of the renovation of a 13th-century Capuchin monastery.

The Baroque church and cloisters, in situ, with majolica and marble floors, provide a historic contrast to the building's façade, which preserves the original materials.

Inside, the historic preservation continues in the 52 rooms and suites. Precious metals, wood, leather and natural fibers are juxtaposed against whitewashed walls.

The cuisine focuses on Italian traditions. Chef Claudio Lanuto is at the helm at Dei Cappucini. At La Locanda della Canonica Pizzeria, guests can enjoy Gino Sorbillo's eight signature pizzas.

Other experiences include discovering the Path of the Gods, Pompeii and Herculaneum, or hiking Monte Faito.
