True Elegance and Luxury

On May 30, 2005, the first Sunreef 60 catamaran was launched in Poland out of the Gdansk Sunreef shipyards. This luxurious high-performance catamaran was designed for ocean cruises, and is spending the summer sailing off the coast of Spain to the delight of passengers and those who watch it sail from a distance.

She is sleek and proud as she cuts through the wake of the Mediterranean waters with her black hulls propelled by her colored sails billowing in the wind. The full batten main sail is 115 square meters (137 square yards) of canvas. The forestaysail is 85 square meters (101 square yards). The owner has the option of including a Genoa foresail or a storm jib in the purchase package.

From afar we can distinguish the spacious pristine white fly bridge with white canopy. Here, the pilot enjoys maneuvering the sixty foot beauty. He sits at the main helm station where state of the art winch controls allow for centralized sail trimming and handling. The captain can control every movement from this vantage point.

Perfectly adapted for family and as a “nomad” cruiser, the Sunreef 60’ is the ideal combination of a luxury cruiser that incorporates all the safety features you can find on single hull yachts.

On the flybridge, the pilot´s station includes the best of navigational equipment and a 360° view. A teak dining table for informal meals or afternoon cocktails is located in front of the helm with comfortable seating, allowing the captain to share in his guests activities. This uniquely sized flybridge gives excellent opportunity for relaxing and sunbathing on the chaises in front.

Stepping down to main deck from the flybridge, we enter a world of informal elegance. The aft terrace is a wonderful place to relax out of the sun and from where to enjoy water sports such as swimming, diving and jet skiing. Inside, set between the two hulls, is the saloon with comfortable living room and dining room. It is finished in warm mahogany tones. A counter divides the living area from the fully equipped galley, also in mahogany, where appetizing delicacies can be prepared. There is also a complete entertainment center with a large screen and the main deck helm station.

This magnificent cat offers a wide range of luxuries and comforts for long voyages. Her four very roomy cabins sit over the twin hulls. Each of the rooms has its own full bathroom with shower and plenty of closet space.

The shipbuilder offers three different layouts to suit the owners personal needs. They include three of four double cabins but all retain the features of their larger sisters in the Sunseeker catamaran fleet elegance, safety and exceptional naval design.
