A news standard in luxury

Just looking at the careful work of its designers and engineers is enough to convince anyone that the Hatteras 80 MY is the new ambassador of luxury and beauty. Its size, distribution of areas and cutting-edge technology are all additional luxuries.

Taking full advantage of the ship’s 80-foot beam, the designers invested a lot of effort into making the main saloon an area of real coexistence and entertainment.

The technical team offers two distribution schemes for the saloon. The first one features a wet bar, which goes hand in hand with the entertainment and leisure one can expect on board, in addition to a double seat in the elevated control bridge. The second option does not have the wet bar or the additional seat in the control bridge. Both options feature a dining room for six people on the starboard.

On the port, and as a counterpart to the dining room, there is a galley that is a work of art regarding function and style since every surface is finished in granite, which is good looking and easy to clean. Taking center stage in the galley there is a dishwasher, Sub Zero® refrigerator, microwave oven, complete conventional oven and ceramic stove with four burners. The interior is decorated mainly with African mahogany, which contrasts with the light-toned fabrics, rugs, carpets and leathers. The staterooms are well-lit, excellently arranged and, over all, spacious.

Again, there are two options for the distribution of the staterooms. Both feature four guest rooms, including the owner’s. The difference is that, in the optional version, the stateroom on starboard has a double bed, instead of the single beds found on the standard version. Another difference is the crew space: in the optional version there is only a double bed, while the standard version has a double bed and a single bed.

An outstanding feature of this more than 20 meter- (65 foot-) long ship is the option to have a Jacuzzi in the elevated control bridge, a luxury that is usually reserved for larger yachts with a length of over 100 feet.

Here, there is another control bridge, an exterior wet bar with three stools, a comfortable table and two “L” shaped armchairs (or one, for the Jacuzzi option). In addition to all this, the elevated control bridge has a grill for another excellent way to enjoy the outdoors.

The yacht’s beautiful exterior and interior can be fully appreciated as well as the evident attention put into every one of its details. It is a true breakthrough in the nautical world.
