The shipping Feadship is recognized in the sailing world to create super-luxury yachts, and each of their ships set a standard that few in the market can achieve. Their quality is defined by the constant innovations in design, construction and engineering.

This time, Feadship’s presents us the Lady Britt, a vessel of 63 and 11.3 meters wide, built in modern facilities Scheepsbouw Koninklijke De Vries in the Netherlands. The Lady Britt incorporates the external appearance of the Twizzle and the functionality of the Cakewalk, two renowned shipping models, reflecting the rubric of De Voogt Naval Architects, a Feadship trademark.

De Voogt worked closely with boat owners, who since even before signing the contract with the shipyard, already had in mind various specifications for Lady Britt, which shows that they never considered skimping on luxury and technology. The very CEO of Feadship, Henk de Vries, acknowledged at the launch of the impressive vessel, that intervention from the owners was decisive to carry out the project: a custom yacht that fully represents that concept.

In the design of Lady Britt, the Twizzle model was used as template, which gives it a sporty and streamlined look and light; the main and upper decks are delimited by two long dark windows that surround the port starboard decks. The hull is built with steel and aluminum, and painted in a light and bright tone that certainly makes it stand out from the shimmering sea.

The interior layout was one of the details that were from greater preponderance for the owners, who established accommodation options for guests’ rooms on the lower deck. On the main deck, amidships, is the living room / salon, with a warmly yet elegant decor, while at aft there’s a private cinema and a dining room for 12 people, and in the rear end is located a panoramic room with two large armchairs.

The upper aft deck has a bar that connects to another large dining room for 12 people, with a spectacular panoramic view, ideal for admiring the sunset. Towards the bow, is the control room, with two seats and a control panel equipped with state-of-the-art navigation systems.

In the sundeck, also towards the bow, is located a jacuzzi and sunbathing areas, there’s also an adjacent gym with all the equipment needed to keep a day of exercise. In the stern of this deck, there are two conveniently located dinettes that offer the higher panoramic view at this level. This area of the yacht can be adapted as a modern theater outdoors.

As one of the main attractions of Lady Britt, on the lower deck is a large Finnish sauna with private access to the ocean. The sauna was placed at the request of the owners who, as Scandinavians, have a habit of taking a sauna at least once a week.

n la costumbre de tomar una sesión de sauna al menos una vez a la semana.

The guest accommodation and bedrooms in general are subject to the sole discretion of the owner. The master stateroom is the room with more space around the ship, it is located on the main deck, and it has a king size bed, entertainment center, separate toilets and dressing rooms, jacuzzi and a private study. Furthermore, six VIP staterooms are located on the lower deck, four have double bed and two twin beds, with the option to convert one room with double bed in another room equipped with sofas and flat screen.

On its technical part, the Lady Britt is thrusted by two 16vM4000 MTU engines, which allow the ship to reach a cruising speed of 13 knots and 24,076 miles. Moreover, the variety of water toys offered is broad, ranging from boats or dinghies and jet skis to navigate sitting or standing, to kayaks and even surf boards. The crew can also organize water skiing or diving activities, for the yacht also offers compressors and all necessary equipment for this sport.
