The Swan Alloy 44 combines Nautor Swan’s Finnish heritage, Sanlorenzo’s vision, and Italian design culture—alongside top-tier Dutch expertise in aluminum construction. It expands the brand’s horizons while preserving the identity, elegance, and performance pedigree that have defined it for six decades.

At 44 meters in length, it is the largest yacht in Swan’s 60-year history and marks the beginning of a new lineage of performance-oriented aluminum sailing superyachts.

The Swan Alloy 44 is the most distinctive new product launched since Sanlorenzo acquired Nautor Swan in 2024. It signals the Group’s entry into the world of sailing superyachts and serves as the first chapter of its new "Alloy" line, which will eventually include a 50-meter edition and a future ketch model.

Performance is fundamental to the Swan identity. Over the past six decades, Swan yachts have triumphed in regattas and international competitions worldwide, while the development of ClubSwan Racing has fostered one of the most active and competitive owner communities in the sailing world.

The naval architecture and exterior design of the Swan Alloy 44 are the work of Malcolm McKeon, renowned for creating cutting-edge sailing superyachts that blend a sophisticated lifestyle with exceptional performance on the water. His vision translates Swan’s competitive spirit into a new category, maintaining the iconic brand’s nautical character on an unprecedented scale.

As Malcolm McKeon explains: “The opportunity wasn’t just to design the largest Swan ever built, but to imagine what a true Swan could become at this scale. A high-performance yacht should project speed even while standing still; every line and proportion serves a purpose—to communicate capability before the yacht even begins to move.” The interiors were created by Studio Liaigre, a Paris-based design firm renowned for its understated elegance, refined craftsmanship, and timeless approach to luxury.

The relationship between the interior and exterior is fundamental to the design. Expansive windows and seamless transitions allow natural light to penetrate deep into the interior, maintaining a constant connection with the sea and ensuring that the experience of sailing remains the central focus of life on board.

The upper deck is open, spacious, and integrates harmoniously with its surroundings. Areas for socializing and quiet contemplation unfold naturally, with every vantage point designed to frame the horizon and bring the seascape into the interior.

Sailing already harnesses the natural power of the wind; the Swan Alloy 44 takes this a step further by generating electrical energy while under sail.

As the yacht sails, its propeller drives a generator that recharges the onboard batteries. This reduces reliance on diesel generators during a voyage, allowing a greater portion of the yacht’s energy needs to be met through power generated naturally at sea.

The dual-energy system combines efficient power generation and storage with intelligent energy management.

The Swan Alloy 44 is currently under construction, with the first delivery scheduled for the summer of 2028.
