This beautiful place tucked by Winnipeg Lake and the Nelson River canal distinguishes by its history in the time of explorers, fur traders and European settlers. The northern part of the province is filled with woods, rivers and lakes. Home of diverse types of animals like elk, deer, black bears, wolfs and beavers, this place is called “The capital of the world of Polar Bears” since a great number of them make their home in the dense part of the woods.
