Potosí is a mining city, declared World Heritage; its territory reaches the 3800 meters above sea level. Its economic sustainably is based on silver extracted from the mountain. To walk in its little streets is to go back in time to the Spanish conquest. Its colonial façades and nice people are part of the town’s essence. Tours to the Mint, Torre de la Compañía and the Cathedral are an obligation. Celebrated the 24th of August, the Ch’utillo festival is quite the experience. It is worth a Potosí to visit!
