An Encounter with Art
An amazing hotel has been bom. Created by the imagination of its designers, it has become the star of the world of modern art. It is 2006’s most famous surprise and has aroused the curiosity of the whole world.
A different artist designed each floor, from the entrance hall to the rooms, and each freely expressed his or her fantasies only limited by the space and the requirements of each hotel room. When guests register they are presented with a menu of photos of each type of room and, at that moment, they can decide which they want and on what floor.
The building is a vertical box of vivid colors that stands out on the avenue. The lobby intrigues with its narrow door that leads to a circular wall, where the lights seem to play, until it reaches the front desk. To one side, the Marmo, with its Carrara marble bar carved in one enormous piece and its easy ambiance, begs to be discovered. It is the per- fect place to spend pleasant evenings while in Madrid.
"Lágrimas Negras" is an exquisite restaurant where the lights, together with the elegant minimal- ism of the room, are the protagonists of a bar of tears. On the roof, the covered pool features a performance of colors and gives the impression of being black water about to disappear within a red space.
Puerta América is a new world, an extraordinary concept that intrigues, disconcerts and offers twelve different and extravagant ways of sleeping away from home. It is fantasy blended with modem art that beats to the rhythm of the genius of the artists, a true explosion that bursts from what is unimaginable.
