Huatulco, with its nine beautiful bays of dazzling blue waters, is a haven lying on the southern seaboard of the Mexican Pacific. In 1998, the Mexican government declared Parque Nacional Huatulco a Natural Protected Area in the Diario Oficial de la Federation (the government's official gazette).
