Bugatti Veyron 16.4

The World’s Fastest Cabrio

As expected, Bugatti couldn’t settle with just one Veyron, for this reason , I present to the lover of all the great car, the new “Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport”.

Unlike the previous model, this Veyron has a few significant modifications, like the removable top, adding  a whole new dimension to the driving of the fastest and most exciting cabrio.

For this model, max speed goes up to 407 km/h only when the polycarbonate top is placed on the car, if not the car will go up to 360 km/h.

Since the removable top is to big to fit inside the trunk, it has to be left at home, but this is no problem because in case of rain it also has an auxiliary canvas type roof that works like an umbrella, but also limiting the top speed to 130 km/h, which is a precautionary speed because the car could lift flight due to the canvas’s parachute effect.

The doors for the new “Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport” are made out of carbon fiber, it also has three different types of suspension height and positioning of the rear spoiler: Standard, Handling and Top Speed.

Every change goes depending on the way the car is driven, being the Top Speed feature for very high speeds, because of it’s low suspension almost at ground level and a very flat rear spoiler to avoid wind resistance.

To sum up, this is the new collector’s toy presented by Bugatti, with only 80 cars available for sale makes it a very limited edition and a “must have”.

Maserati Gran Turismo

Italian Art

With the arrival of the “Gran Turismo S” to the Maserati family we probably have one of the most amazing sport coupes in the world. And it had to be in such an important place as the Geneve Auto Show where its first appearance was made. This is the true sports car that comes back to the unique tradition of this firm.

With a 4.7 V8 Engine and 440 hp, comes with a new MC-Shift transmission system electronically activated and located on the front axis, with the purpose of optimizing shift times for every gear. As well as the own consistency of the car.

This powerful engine puts the “Gran Turismo S” between the most exclusive cars in Italy, besides it’s luxurious leather detailing and comfort when it comes to driving it. This car goes from 0 to 100 km/h in only 4.9 seconds and goes back to 0 km in only 35 meters thanks to it’s breaking kit which is the same as the “Quattroporte Sport GT S”. “Brembo”, breaks with an iron and aluminum structure and 6 piston calipers. This car is definitely a masterpiece that attracts the looks of people no matter where.

On the exterior it has some esthetic modifications in collaboration with Lowie Vermeersch, chief of design, and under the supervision of Andrea Pininfarina, that make this car look like a true sports car like the new exhaust pipes that are  two, also the new exclusive rim design and alloy. All of this without losing the style that’s always been a part of Pininfarina.

On the interior it reflects the sporty style on the garments of the seats made out of Poltrona Frau Leather and Alcantara, everything has been hand sewed. This is definitely the sports car every collector must have.

AlfaRomeo 8C Spider

New aerodinamic style

Presented on the Pebble Beach Concourse d’Elegance on the year 2005, but it was until late 2008 that people had to wait for Europe to posses this luxurious and unique sports car.

With the same specs as the “Alfa 8C Competizione” but different aspects, being the “Alfa 8C Spyder” is the new convertible version.

It’s a different sports car in so many aspects that it is unique. At a first impression it denotes a futuristic and fast aspect.

Situated on the rear axis is the robotized automatic 6-speed shifter, which has an auto block differential, besides its very easy to drive this car (a women’s favorite) that through a button you can switch between the normal and sport mode, and also it’s capacity to run over slippery surfaces (because of the differential mentioned earlier).

It’s design unlike no other sports classic; it is because of this exclusivity that only 500 units will be designed.

Equipped with a 4.2 liter V8 and a stunning 450 hp at 7.000 rpm at sea level, it is also a sports car with a double layered canvas like top that guarantees a perfect thermic and auditive sealing.

In the interior of the “Alfa 8C Spyder” we have sport seats, that are covered with new Frau Flower Leather, specially treated and that brings a special and unique touch to the car’s style.

This new creation from Alfa Romeo brings together everything this firm has to offer: speed, futuristic designs and innovation in this new car engineering.
