Approximately 140 galleries from all over the world have come to the event to present their most outstanding artists.

Art Paris 2021 opened its doors at the Grand Palais Ephemerale, designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte. The exhibition halls house collections ranging from the end of World War II to the modern era.

This year, the theme is Portraiture and figuration, a look at the French scene, and, according to Hervé Mikaeloff, the Fair's guest curator, "it is even more important today, given the current context. This accentuation of the portrait theme corresponds to our times. The period when artists were immersed in uncertainty was, in fact, a time of introspection for them and their work."

From Thursday, September 9 through Sunday, September 12, professionals in the field will be able to exhibit their creations, mainly those born during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.
