Starwood Luxury Collection opens in Los Cabos

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, conducted the ceremony of laying the first stone of what will be Solaz, a Luxury Collection Resort. The hotel, owned by Fifth Gulf of Cortez, covering 33 hectares that include a large spa, homes, vacation properties and a private beach club. Solace, which will open its doors in June 2017 as the first Starwood Luxury Collection hotel in Los Cabos and seventh hotel brand in Mexico, followed by the recent conversion of The St. Regis in Mexico City.

Rijksmuseum, Museum of the Year

The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam was chosen by the jury of the European Museum Forum (WEF) in Glasgow, as the "European Museum of the Year", due to its restoration undertaken by Spanish architects Antonio Cruz and Antonio Ortiz. The museum has the best collection of works by Rembrandt and Vermeer, two of the pillars of the Golden Age of Dutch painting.

Grupo Gaviota open hotels

Gaviota Tourism Group, will open new facilities to expand its presence in Cuba this 2015, of which three of the new facilities will be managed under the brand Ocean Spanish firm H10. Knickerbocker Hotel reopens in NY

After various changes has been almost 109 years since it opened its doors for the first time, the Knickerbocker hotel located in New York, has been completely restored in detail. The hotel first opened its doors on October 23, 1906 and closed in 1921. Years later, the building changed hands several times. He became office buildings, and housed Newsweek from 1940 to 1959. In 1980, it was declared a historic site and historic monument in 1988.
